  • truck spec: LTAoption-F.rtf

Wire Guard (-G)
Wire Guard
  • Available on all FRC lampheads (except the triple cluster) to protect the lamphead lens.
  • Wire guard retrofit kits are available for Optimum and Focus lampheads not originally fitted with one.
  • truck spec: LTAoption-G.rtf

(-D) Dual Lamphead Bracket
Dual Lamphead Bracket
  • Available with all FRC P or S size lampheads.
  • This bracket assembly and second lamphead is for top and pole mounts.
  • The bracket assembly is less than 15" wide.
  • truck spec: LTAoption-D.rtf

(-SR) Steady Rest Lower Bracket Steady Rest Bracket
  • This additional bracket provides bottom support for the "inside pole" when it is in the retracted (down) position.
  • This backet can be used with 512 and 530 push-up poles. This bracket is required on 530 push-up poles when the raised pole indicator and switch option is installed.

(-CL) Custom Length Pole
  • FRC telescopic poles can be shipped pre-cut to a custom length. Unless otherwise specified a custom length is the overall length of the pole and lamphead assembly. For specific applications a drawing or explicit instructions should be provided for FRC to customize the pole.
  • truck spec: LTAoption-CL.rtf

(-ST) 10-Inch Outer Tube
  • Available with 530 and 542 poles this decreases the outer tube grab handle to 10" but allows the pole to extend an extra 10".
  • truck spec: LTAoption-ST.rtf

(-NS) No-Scratch Guide and Bumpers No Scratch
  • The No-Scratch option is available for 530 push-up poles. It combines a guide collar and guide rail assembly, a steady rest bracket, and two rubber bumpers (on the Focus lamphead) into a system that helps prevent the scratching and denting of apparatus body surfaces form the lamphead as it is lowered.
  • To do a retrofit, order the FC-NSK kit. It is recommended that the steady rest (-SR) lower bracket be installed with the No-Scratch retrofit kit.
  • For more information refer to the installation instructions "No-Scratch for Model 530 Telescopic Pole".
  • truck spec: LTAoption-NS.rtf

(-RB) No-Scratch Rubber Bumpers Rubber Bumper
  • The Rubber Bumpers can be installed on all Focus lampheads. The bumpers help prevent scratching and denting by eliminating metal-to-metal contact between the rear of the lamphead and the apparatus body surfaces.
  • Order the FC-RB kit to do a retrofit.
  • truck spec: LTAoption-RB.rtf

Electrical Options

(-ON) On/Off Switch on Lamphead On / Off Switch
  • On Optimum and Focus lights, a switchbox is provided underneath the lamphead.
  • It is not possible to retrofit the switchbox on the Optimum or Focus lampheads.
  • truck spec: LTAoption-ON.rtf

(-SW) Raised Pole Switch and Indicator Raised Pole Switch
  • In order to meet requirements for an indicator light to alert the vehicle operator that an extendable pole has been raised, FRC offers a switch and indicator option on all permanently mounted telescopic poles.
  • The parts associated with this option will differ dependent upon the type of pole. To retrofit this option the type of pole being used needs to be specified when ordering. If retrofitting this option on a 530 push-up pole the steady rest lower bracket is required.
  • For more information refer to the installation instructions"Raised Pole Warning Switch and Indicator".
  • truck spec: LTAoption-SW.rtf

(-TW) Wire Exits Top of Pole Top Wire
  • For most permanently mounted lampheads the power cord exits through the bottom of a pole assembly. Specifying this option will bring the power cord out of the top of the pole.
