This Product Advisory Notice is to alert you that R.O.M Corporation is relocating the manufacture and service of certain lighting products from Belton, MO to its Nesconset, NY operation. Please forward this notification to the appropriate person(s) in your organization.
Description of Change

SPECTRA now UL Listed!
Friday, December 7th, 2012
We got word today from UL that all SPECTRA LED lighting can now be classified as UL listed.
While this doesn’t change the design of our SPECTRA line, it does give us something to crow about! Expect to see updates on our website, promotional materials and labeling as we can implement those changes.
“Congratulations! UL’s investigation of your product(s) has been completed under the above Reference Number and the product was determined to comply with the applicable requirements.”
Shown above is a 12V LED SPECTRA mounted forward. Note to self: please don’t drive to the scene with this light on as you will mostly certainly blind other drivers!
Did SANDY affect FRC?
Thursday, November 1st, 2012
FRC is located well inland and did not sustain any damage due to the recent storm. We did lose electric and phones for two days but we are up and running and have scheduled overtime *to ensure that deliveries are not impacted*. We appreciate all the good wishes!
Power was restored to FRC late on Oct 31st. Some internal computer systems suffered damage but those have been replaced and operations were in full swing by 1pm Nov 1st. Some employees are still without power in their homes or without telephone service and gas lines have been a hassle. Our main phone lines were out (including our fax line) for another day or two though we were able to operate on backup lines during that time.
