Setting the date and time on the TurboFoam

Thursday, October 24th, 2013

One of the first things you’ll want to do when testing out your new TurboFoam direct injection foam proportioning system is to set the local date and time. While the time and date is set at the factory, if your truck ends up in a different time zone you should change the time. Note: you can use this video for setting the time on all TurboFoam systems. The TFC100 has no message display and you must substitute MODE for MENU.

Why should I bother doing this?
The TurboFoam stores the last 20 error codes with a timestamp. Having the correct date and time stored in your TurboFoam makes troubleshooting any problems you run into much easier. There is a comprehensive list of trouble codes available in the TurboFoam manual.

TurboFoam Installation Video

Monday, April 1st, 2013

John McLoughlin and Brian Roherich worked to put together this great installation overview for FRC’s new TurboFoam Direct Injection Foam Proportioning System. This video in no way replaces the installation manual, but it does cover the basics of installation. This is not a sales or operations video! You will not learn how to operate the TurboFoam system here. It describes the steps a truck builder needs to perform to install the new foam system. The audience for this video is District engineers and mechanics, OEM engineering staff, and technically minded folk who want to understand the components of the TurboFoam system.
