AUTOFOAM Electronic Controlled Proportioning 60gpm

The AutoFoam is a high volume automatic foam proportioner. It will correctly mix Class B foam concentrate with water at discharge flow rates up to 3000 GPM.

This around-the-pump foam proportioning system will automatically maintain a selected foam percent mixture regardless of discharge water flow fluctuations. Around-the-pump proportioning systems operate with an eductor installed between the water pump intake and pump discharge. A small flow of water from the pump discharge passes through the eductor and creates a vacuum that draws foam concentrate into the eductor and ejects it into the intake side of the pump.

The AutoFoam is microprocessor controlled and easy to use. Power the system with the push of a button, two buttons are used to select the foam proportioning percent, and two multifunction displays provide flow rate information. The upper display shows the selected foam concentrate percent, flow rate, and the total gallons used. The lower display shows the discharge water flow rate and the total gallons of water used.

The operator can override automatic control by using the manual override buttons. In manual mode the operator is in control of opening or closing the foam metering valve to control how much foam concentrate flows into solution.
