IETM Online Interactive MANUALS or IETMs (Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals) are already available for many FRC products, and new products are added from time to time. The IETM also contains two general overview programs for midship and PTO pump operation that you may find of interest. The link opens the IETM news page where you can read about whats new or launch the IETM. The IETM contains links to all the latest catalogs and interactive manuals.

Manual MANUALS available as PDF (Portable Digital Format) files require a PDF reader to be viewed. The manuals are organized by product line with a description and a link provided to open the file. The link will open the newest revision of the manual.

To view the Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals you will need flash player software on your computer.

Macromedia Flash Player (9.0) is a free download from the Macromedia web site. Go to the site, look for Download Free Players and select Macromedia Flash Player. Follow the installation instructions.
To read the manual and reference sheet PDF files posted here, you will need either:
  1. Adobe Acrobat Reader (FRC recommends version 7.0 or later) is a free download from the Adobe web site for Unix, OS2, Windows and Mac.
  2. Alladin Ghostscript is another free utility to view PDF and PS files for various flavors of Unix, OS2, Windows and Mac. The optional/additional download of Ghostview is highly recommended to provide a nice graphical interface for the program.

How to save an Acrobat file 11/9/00
Right click on the link for the file you want. A little menu should appear. Choose "Save link as" [in Netscape] or "Save Target As" [in MS Internet Explorer] from the pop-up menu, and decide where you want to save it on your hard drive. 

Opening the file 01/17/01
If Acrobat is installed properly, you should be able to use Windows Explorer (assuming you are using MS Windows) to navigate to where you saved the file (the PDF file, that is) and then just "double-click" on it. Acrobat will launch and display the file. Other OS users are on their own.
